Portland Mayoral Debate, by Willamette University
Posted by KATU News on YouTube.com, “Your Voice, Your Vote: 2024 Portland Mayoral Debate presented by Willamette University.” This program is 50 minutes long.
Nineteen (19) candidates are running for Portland Mayor. Five (5) candidates were on stage: Rene Gonzalez, Keith Wilson, Liv Østhus, Carmen Rubio, and Mingus Mapps. The MCRP is recommending Rene Gonzalez be ranked 1st and Mingus Mapps 2nd for Portland Mayor on our Candidates & Measures Guide 2024.
Newly formed Political Action Committee (PAC) called “Don’t Rank Rene” (ID 23990) purchased $144,592 worth of literature from a Washington, D.C.-based firm (The Pivot Group, Inc.) to thwart rank-voting preference away from law-and-order candidate Rene Gonzalez (oregonlive.com). This opposition against Commissioner Gonzalez is partially funded by Progressive Voice for Oregon (ID 23659).
