U.S. Federal Elections

President & Vice President

The Trump Campaign chose not to include President Trump and J. D. Vance in the Oregon Voters’ Guide, but they will be printed on your ballots!

Thank you for

  • the tax rate cuts for the middle class
  • shutting off the endless flow of illegal immigrants at the southern border
  • reforming the VA
  • bringing back millions of mostly union manufacturing jobs to the US
  • the largest number of Americans with gainful employment since the government started keeping records yielding the lowest unemployment rates for most every group
  • eliminating Obamacare’s “individual mandate”
  • getting the US out of foreign policy disasters like the Iran nuclear deal, the Paris Climate Accords, the Trans-Pacific Partnership, & ending NAFTA

And finally, Mr. President, thank you for 24-hour-a-day commitment on your two most important achievements, the security and prosperity of all Americans.
We want you back!

Oregon State Measures

Measures 115, 116, 117, and 119 are all funded by massive donations from outside the State of Oregon (just like past Measure 110 “Decriminalization of Drugs”). For example: oregoncitizen.com/the-latest/m117-rcv-ranked-choice-voting-who-is-funding-it

VOTE NO on Measure 115: This would “allow the Legislature to impeach elected State executives.”

We the people elected the state executives and the legislature should not be able to undo the will of the people.

VOTE NO on Measure 116: This would “establish an independent compensation commission for certain public official’s salaries.”

We the people should decide the compensation for public officials, but with the Legislature doing the task, we could hold them accountable, definitely not with an unelected commission.

VOTE NO on Measure 117: This would “establish Rank-Choice Voting (RCV) for Federal and State offices.”

Under RCV, the algorithm determines election results, dilutes majority vote, cannot be audited, would lead to centralized elections and loss of county control, would cost more, and could take weeks until results are known. RCV is more confusing to the voter and could lead to having no voice in who is elected.

VOTE NO on Measure 118: This would set up a “Corporate Tax for Universal Basic Income”

Very bad idea that will bring economic disaster and high-prices to our economy. This is almost entirely funded by California millionaires:

VOTE NO on Measure 119: Unionization of cannabis workers
Silences business owners to help boost unions in the cannabis business. Government law is manipulated in favor of unions.

City of Portland

Portland City Measure

VOTE NO on Portland 26-253: This would remove “City-wide vote requirement for mandatory building weatherization.”

If the measure is approved, the City would be able to mandate building weatherization for any structure built before September 1, 1979, without referring the mandate to voters.

City of Troutdale

Troutdale Mayor

Troutdale City Council

Please vote for four:

  • Glenn White
  • Carol Allen
  • John Leamy
  • Jordan Wittren

Troutdale City Measure

VOTE YES on Troutdale 26-248: This will “prohibit additional recreational marijuana retailers in the city of Troutdale.”

The State wants very little restrictions on the locations of these retailers and the City wants to keep them further from schools and parks. Vote Yes to keep them from being located close to a school or park near you.

City of Gresham

Gresham City Council

Gresham City Measures

VOTE NO on Gresham 26-255: This would lower the “Voter Threshold”.

Would just require a majority to amend the charter rather than the current requirement of 60% of the voters.

VOTE NO on Gresham 26-256: This would permit “Urban Renewal” without the formal approval of voters.

Would allow the City Council to make any changes to Urban Renewal that it deems necessary without approval of voters, but would require public outreach and a public hearing. Let’s keep the rules related to Urban Renewal as they are today and let voters be involved in the process.
